Helen has over fifteen years in Personnel Management and Training commencing with corporate roles, and for the past seven years has operated as a self employed consultant, specialising in soft skill development and team building. She holds formal accreditations in a variety of management and personal development courses including Strategic Sales Training, Negotiation Skills, Customer Service and Team Building programs.

With skills in program development, as well as facilitation of both large and small groups, Helen has designed, customised and/or delivered training for a wide client base throughout the Asia Pacific Region. Ranging from large and small corporate to state and local government, her clients come from industries as diverse as IT, banking and finance, transport, telecommunications, automotive, petroleum, and pharmaceuticals. Examples include WM Mercer, United Energy, ANZ Bank, SAAB, Smithkline Beecham, Advantage Credit Union, NEC, Ansett, Holden and General Motors Asia Pacific.

Over the past 7 years, she has had a significant role in both the design and delivery of a national Customer Service rollout for Sales and Service personnel through the "Holden Difference!" Project. As one of the Master Trainers, she was also responsible for designing and delivering a Train the Trainer for 10 trainers nationwide as well as being requested to deliver a significant number of training courses across Australia. Through this broad experience, Helen has developed a high level of expertise in improving management and interpersonal skills and team function. As a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP)with the National Speakers Association of Australia, Helen's conference presentations and key-note addresses provide added value to her clients' training programs.

Lachlan Macdonald - Director & Consultant - VIC

Lachlan's education has been gathered in the field - and the fields have been many and varied. His career has led him through such diverse areas as graphic design; stage management; building; voice-overs; transport; acting; and most recently training and development.

He has hands-on experience in numerous industries such as hospitality; entertainment; media; retail and advertising.

Lachlan has gained an understanding of both traditional and experiential training over the past five years, working with clients in the manufacturing and finance sectors.
His area of specialisation is in communication - whether that be in writing, presentation, or dealing with the media. He believes that communication is critical to an organisation's ability to function at a high level of effectiveness.

As MC, conference presenter or corporate trainer, Lachlan ensures that delegates and participants "get the message" every time. (top)

Scott Stein

Scott Stein - Senior Consultant - NSW

With his Masters Thesis on Team Building and over 10 years experience in the Experiential Training & Development field throughout the United States, Asia & Australia, Scott is considered a leader in the experiential training industry. He has a passionate approach to business and a creative energy that is contagious.

Over the past 4 years, he has been working in the largest Automotive Training Initiative in Australia with Holden. As a Project Manager he helped design & deliver a national training program on Customer, Consultative Sales & Service Training in which 17,000 staff at dealerships nationwide will participate. As one of the Master Trainers, he is also responsible for designing and delivering a Train the Trainer for 10 trainers nationwide as well as being requested to deliver a significant number of training courses across Australia.

For the Westpac Group, he has also recently project managed, designed and delivered a nationwide consultative sales training program for AGC Dealer as well as AGC Creditline. The strong relationship also allowed Scott to introduce AGC to the Compass Learning Executive Coaching Program. He has also been involved with a national Leadership Development Program for Domino's Pizza working with Corporate Managers for an 8 month period.

Scott values taking a "business partnership" philosophy with clients to ensure that a "win-win" outcome is achieved. Pulling on his past experience as a Communication Instructor at Central Michigan University, Scott's energetic presentation style motivates groups to overcome obstacles and gain valuable insights applicable to the workplace. He is currently in the process of writing a book based on the new trends in business and what strategies companies need to take to meet the changing business environment. (top)



Bruce Sullivan

Bruce Sullivan - Senior Consultant - QLD

Bruce is a proven performer in achieving results through people. He is a specialist in the delivery of targeted Service, Sales and Marketing Seminars, Change Management and Personal Leadership. He brings to the training and professional speaking environment a diverse and successful career. Managing his own businesses since his teens, he has confirmed his business acumen in the areas of retailing, service, wholesale operations and real estate. By age 24 he had established his own million-dollar network of businesses.

In 1996, one of his key clients engaged him as General Sales and Operations Manager to apply the principles that he teaches. The result was his recognition as the number one Sales Manager in Australia and the profitable increase in market share from 17% to just over 32%. Over the past 2 years, he has had a significant role in both the design and delivery of a national rollout for 17,000 Sales and Service and Administration personnel through the "Holden Difference!" Project. As one of the Master Trainers, he was also responsible for designing and delivering a Train the Trainer for 10 trainers nationwide as well as being requested to deliver a significant number of training courses across Australia. An author and professional speaker, he has an extended track record of working with a wide range of private and public organisations and industries, both in Australia and overseas.

Some of his major Australian clients include AMP, The Brisbane City Council (6200 employees), Mobil, Credit Union Australia, Holden, The Australian Swimming Coaches Association, The Australian Society of CPA's, Nestle and Jetset. Bruce's unique understanding of our ability to relate to one another in the workplace and at home is what sets his work apart and gives a very practical and timely insight into the human side of the corporate environment.

Stuart Armstrong - Senior Consultant - NSW

Stuart has been in the "training game" for over 20 years. He has seasoned sales experience as a National Sales Manager for the Education Group as well as the Divisional Sales Manager for Amway Australia. In these sales management positions, he successfully managed large field teams throughout Australia. He recently co-designed and delivered a nationwide consultative sales training program for AGC Dealer and AGC Creditline. In regards to dealership and management experience, Stuart was the General Sales Manager for Sutton's City Holden. Second in Charge to the Dealer Principal, he assisted in managing 180 people and in laying the groundwork for Sutton City's current success.
Over the past 4 years, he has been working in the largest Automotive Training Initiative in Australia with The Holden Difference! As one of the Master Trainers, he is also responsible for designing and delivering a Train the Trainer for 10 trainers nationwide as well as being requested to deliver a significant number of training courses across Australia. During his time at Amway, he helped write an international manual that is used for New Market Development and used by Stuart in both New Zealand and Indonesia.

In the past two years, Stuart has also run training for international clients in both Malaysia and Spain. The information gained as a Senior Manager at this level, provides Stuart with a unique insight to understand the practical abilities and strategies for implementing successful training. Currently, Stuart works with leading players in the Australian Market in the areas of Finance as well as Automotive Industry including: AGC Creditline, AGC Dealer, BMW Financial Services, Land Rover, Holden to name a few. Because of his past expertise, he was also selected by Holden to co-design and deliver Consultative Sales & Consultative Service Training to Holden Dealerships nationwide involving 17,000 staff.

Adrian Heath

Adrian Heath - Senior Consultant - NSW

Adrian Heath is a post graduate qualified training consultant who has excellent training experience from various positions, as an independent training consultant running his own company, as a member of the Learning Difference team and as an employee training internal and external client training programs. Currently, Adrian is involved with the Holden Difference project, which is in the process of training 17,000 staff in Consultative Sales and Consultative Service at automotive dealerships nationwide.

Adrian has successfully applied his project management and consulting skills to many training program design projects with a variety of clients. He is able to identify the clients' needs and design competency and outcome based training that leads to genuine, long term change in attitudes and behaviour. He has designed and delivered a number of financial and business acumen training courses including: Financial training for Barclays & Mercantile Business Finance Group, Mercantile Credit and Eveready Asia Pacific. In the past, Adrian has had a strong relationship with the finance industry as a Corporate Financier in London.

He spent five years as a manager working for Barclays Bank and the Bank of Scotland. He has also designed and delivered a number of customer service, financial acumen and sales programs for the banking and finance industry as well as the IT industry. The nature of Adrian's experience has given him the ability to quickly understand the needs of the client and the client's industry, market and employees. (top)

 


Eddie Stowers

Eddie Stowers - Consultant - WA

Eddie is a self-employed consultant specialising in Management, Team Building, Customer Service and Personal Development, Course design and Facilitation. Some of his national clients have included: Holden, Cummins Diesel, NS Komatsu and Leisure Australia. Locally his work includes a diverse clientele from Personal Development courses in Perth's leading private schools, to team building for city councils, to intensive "hostage/siege" negotiation training scenarios for the WA Police Department, Detective Training School and WA Ministry of Justice.

His training style is energetic, empathetic and interactive, in keeping with his talents as a sought after national fitness trainer and presenter. His broad background, which includes military service overseas, has enabled him to develop and then pass onto a wide range of people, from paroled prisoners to all levels of staff and management, interpersonal skills that are practical, hands-on and effective. He is also involved in working on "The Holden Difference!" project in the largest automotive training program in Australia. During this project, Eddie is involved in delivering a number of courses including: Customer Service and the Holden Vision, Consultative Sales and Consultative Service. During the national roll-out, he delivered to over 5,000 people throughout Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
